Subject: Cargo in Kenya

Hello Everyone, Jambo,

We have been in Kenya week now Distributing the cargo of 700 sewing machines we sent over last year. They waited for us to come open it after the violence. Peace has settled over the area and the kenyans are eager to get moving. Thank GOD it has arrived intact; everything we sent made it! We have been going 12 hours a day meeting with all the members of the centers driving in to receive thier share, going over the programs etc. We have distributed over 150 machines to our 6 outreaches in Kenya plus the 350 machines to our main partner CITAM and a missionary from Tanzania came up to take back 20 machines for outreaches there. They called me today to say they made it back OK.across the boarder. You might imagine the logistical planning all this has taken for many months. God has favored it all by His incredible timing to have all these people show up from 100s' of miles away In an area far remote from Nairobi to do all this .Even the Maasais' came from Maasailand. It was soo good to see them ,Pastor William Luka and Timothy from Ngoswani. It would have been impossible without God and cell phones to do all this. It appears now that around 150+ sewing machines will be in production within 2 months producing an amount to keep Threads of Hope - Africa sustainable. Praise God, Only He could have arrange such a plan to come together. Being obidient to His Word has been the key for all this to happen, no question!
